Does anyone mind if I remove all the redlinks? This page is a moderate vandalism target, and I'm concerned there are vandalistic entries in those redlinks, and also that new ones could hide there. Mangojuicetalk 20:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, since no one objected in 2 months, I've done so now. Mangojuicetalk 18:39, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Move to annotated list
[edit]Recently, an editor starting migrating this list from a plain list to an annotated one. If the article is not going to be deleted, I think that'll be a significant improvement. However, I propose (once it's clear what the article's fate will be) that (1) we remove from the list any people who were merely Nazi officials that weren't especially involved in the Nazi party (or alternatively, we rename the article) and (2) entries have to be sourced, now that there are non-trivial claims about each person. Serious Question...
[edit]I hope someone replies to this soon, I am after all a humble IP looking for a ruling one way or the other. Anyway, the question at hand is this- is this article not wrongly named? Should it not be titled 'Leader's in the Third Reich' or something like that. The current title seems to refer only to the NSDAP, something very different from the state and the SS. Thoughts, opinions please.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.141.24.177 (talk) 00:39, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- I would agree that the current title is problematic. For example, many of the military figures listed here were not, so far as I'm aware, members of the Nazi party. On the other hand, some of the people listed (the Strassers or Anton Drexler) were Nazi Party leaders who were not leaders or officials in the Third Reich. So I'm not sure what the best title would be. john k (talk) 02:12, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- To revisit this, how about List of leaders and officials of the Nazi Party and the Third Reich? john k (talk) 05:40, 17 March 2017 (UTC)

Financiers
[edit]Two of the most important people to the rise of the Third Reich — Fritz Thyssen and Friedrich Flick somehow escape notice here, no doubt because they're wealthy and hence connected to important and wealthy American political families, even though Flick was tried and convicted at Nuremberg and Thyssen was also a Nazi official until 1938. 172.5.154.148 (talk) 20:50, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
More citations needed?

Is the above tag really necessary? It has been on this in 13 years! All links are blue, and the linked articles would give full information about the sources. If not, they, not this article, should have a tag. Creuzbourg (talk) 16:42, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
No Heinz Guderian on this list?
